Anwoth
The little settlement of Anwoth was used as the location of the schoolhouse and maypole scenes and also the graveyard in the ruined kirk. It is located just off the A75 about a mile from Gatehouse of Fleet.

The ruined kirk and graveyard are pretty much unchanged since the time of the film.
